Typically, the Crossroads participants do not have childcare responsibilities and can meet regularly to go out to lunch, supper, a sporting event, etc. and share fellowship.
FIRST FRIENDSMonthly gatherings of adults and young families designed for adults between ages 25-45 (+ or -). Gatherings alternate between “adults only” and “with children”. Participants gather at a host home for pizza, covered dish suppers and service projects. First Friends and families enjoy an annual trip to the beach.
PRIME TIMERSThis is a ubiquitous crowd whose ages are from 45 to ?? (but who’s counting?) Most of these folks have children who are long gone from home. Prime Timers gather approximately six times per year for a covered dish supper in members homes. The members are among the first to roll up their sleeves for workdays and special projects around the church. An annual trip to the beach is a highlight of this group’s fellowship.
THE DAYTIMERSA group of retired individuals and couples who meet monthly for lunch at a local restaurant for food, fellowship and stimulating conversation.
SENIORS FELLOWSHIPSenior members and friends who meet twice yearly for a catered luncheon at the church. The program following the luncheon varies—a hymn sing, a slide show featuring a member’s travels, or a song and dance program by senior performer
PRESBYTERIAN WOMENThis group promotes the fellowship of women of all ages. Activities include two Circles that share in Bible study, as well as care for each other and homebound members. The “circles” have typically met on the first Monday of the month, and one can join either a morning or evening circle.
